Resting is a vital element of Tyranny, as it heals your party completely and removes all wounds.
Your party can rest for free at any of the faction camps in Act I, the Mountain Spire in Acts II & III, or by using a single unit of camping supplies. Resting at Spires adds all bonuses unlocked by Spire upgrades.
Note that some quests advance time, and thus count as resting. They include:
- Act II
- (Rebel path) Battered but Unbroken: repairing Duskwatch Fort.
- (Disfavored path) Into the Maelstrom: waiting till night to take the fort.
- The Weight of Aegis: when your smith analyses the sample from Sentinel Stand Outskirts;
- Act III
- Annal Sects: while Lantry is "doing his stuff" at his hideout.
- Either
- Tide Together: Asking Needle Toe to kill his gang while they slept.
- Knapping on the Job: when you choose dialogue options to toggle between day and night.
- Midnight Wanderer: "Wait till night" dialogue option.
Learning the Sigil of Life from Lantry will also count as resting.
Day of Swords Achievement[]
In Act I, before proclaiming the Edict of Execution, rest in the Disfavored camp until the Day of Swords has passed. This both nets you an achievement, and provides a big hint that Kyros's Edicts can be exploited.
