Mattias is a character in Tyranny.
Background[]
The Unbroken fighter looks pale and worn. His demeanor has begun to show the horrors he's witnessed, but he wears every scar and concerned twitch with a veteran's dignity. He is the leader of the Unbroken, responsible for planning their operations, although the losses to the Disfavored put him in a very bad position. He's exhausted, tired, and looking for an exit that doesn't involve martyrdom. Perhaps even victory, assuming miracles do happen on Terratus.

- Disfavored
- Breaking the Enemy: Mattias is confronted at the Junction, deciding the fate of the Unbroken resistance. He has to be killed if you did not side with either the Chorus or the Unbroken earlier.
- Scarlet Chorus
- A Broken Chord: Mattias is the first Unbroken leader visited in the path, and is to be conscripted into the Chorus by any means necessary.
- Anarchist
- Bound by the Blade: Mattias (or more precisely, Irentis) is the final stop on the way to recover the Dauntless.
- If you betray the Chorus at Trapper's Junction, Mattias drops an unsent missive meant for Gregos, unlocking the Oldwalls Breach.
- Rebel
- A Daunting Path: Mattias is rescued from the Chorus besieging him.
Bugs[]
- If not killed last Mattias will sometimes become invulnerable, to fix this simply run away until he resets and then fight him again.
