Language of the Ancients is a side quest in Tyranny.

Synopsis

Acalia has been studying the research of Hieronymus, a fellow Sage, hoping to understand more about the magic of the Oldwalls. She needs you to record specific writings found in the Twin Rivers Oldwalls near Lethian's Crossing. She needs copies of sigils that may be found decorating "altars" scattered throughout the interior to advance her research.

Walkthrough

Note: Anarchist Fatebinders can get and complete this quest if they first follow the Scarlet Chorus, obtain Snuffing Them Out and not completing it, and not visiting Effigy until after Betray Alliance.

• Head to Twin Rivers and enter the Oldwalls. There are three Sigil locations:
  • In the altar room by the Brotherhood camp.
  • In the altar room by the exit to the Depths.
  • In the altar room where Garrick is.
• Return to Acalia. She will ask you to retrieve a copy of the codex from Hieronymus at the Oldwalls Breach (available after completing The Stones of Elucidation).
