Gore-Claw's Tanned Hide is an item in Tales from the Tiers.

Description

Those furriers with the stomach (or apathy) to work the thick, oft-scarred hides of Beastmen find it difficult to bend to their craft. The reward, they avow, more than compensates for the trouble, claiming that Beast hide combines rugged protection with unparalleled flexibility.

Despite these assertions, Beast hide armor remains unpopular among actual warriors, probably due to its tendency to attract the fangs and claws of living Beastmen.
