Bound by the Blade is a quest in Tyranny.

Synopsis

You learned that Mattias, leader of the Unbroken, has gone to Trapper's Junction. He has information you need about the Dauntless, the relic that Bleden Mark sent you to acquire.

Walkthrough

• Go to Trapper's Junction to search for Mattias. If you have progressed to the point that Sentinel Stand is conquered (completing Making a Stand), everyone is dead, with Irentis' Notes in the southern camp providing a convenient location of the relic at the Infested Oldwalls. Otherwise, kill Mattias and Irentis, then grab Irentis' Notes.
  • Note that if you betray the Scarlet Chorus at Trapper's Junction, you'll start your hunt for Dauntless with this quest, skipping Undaunted and Relic Hunter.
  • While optional, you can always hunt down the Scarlet Chorus in the area. If you betray the Chorus here, you have to at least clear out Jagged Remedy's camp.
• Grab the Dauntless.
• Return to Ashweald.
